Scanning Receivers

Scanning Receivers are used for both automatic and manual frequency scanning. This equipment is used to measure overload, linearity, selectivity, and normal response to pulses.

Scanning receivers, along with spectrum analyzers, are convenient for disturbance measurements. There is a display indication on both spectrum analyzers and scanning receivers for peak detection mode and it is never less than the quasi-peak indication for the same bandwidth. Scanning with peak detection mode is faster and more convenient than using quasi-peak detection. It is important to note that when using quasi-peak limits and the peak detector that any peak measurements at or above the quasi-peak limit need to be re-measured with a quasi-peak detector.

Avalon Test Equipment carries a variety of scanning receivers to meet your testing requirements. Rent from Avalon and Test With Confidence®.
