Their vents consist of a matching pair of welded brass frames sandwiching a 1” thick steel honeycomb matrix made from steel strips fused together with a thin layer of solder. This forms a continuous electrical and mechanical bond throughout the matrix. This product meets shielding effectiveness testing standards ITSG-02, IEEE-STD-299-2006, and NSA-65-6.

RF Shielding Effectiveness

  • Magnetic fields: 20 dB at 1 kHz rising to 55 dB at 10 kHz and 95 dB at 200 kHz
  • Electric fields: 100 dB from 200 kHz to 50 MHz
  • Plane waves: 110 dB from 50 MHz to 1 GHz
  • Microwaves: 100dB at 10GHz
