Dipole antennas are used to simulate environments for EMC, EMI, and RFI testing. They are RF (radio frequency) antennas that radiate electromagnetic signals through a current between its two poles. These two poles incorporate conductive elements such as wires or rods and can receive a signal both directly, through the antenna's base, or remotely, through a feeder hooked up to a receiver.
There is a variety of dipole antennas including short, folded, non-resonant, multiple half-wave, and the most common, half-wavelength dipole antenna.
Avalon Test Equipment carries a variety of dipole antennas to meet your testing requirements. Rent from Avalon and Test With Confidence®.
