CISPR 15 is a test standard created for the limits and measurement of radio disturbance characteristics of electrical lighting and related equipment. This standard applies to the emission of RF disturbances, both radiated and conducted, from the following: all lighting equipment with the main function of generating light, the lighting part of the equipment that is multi-functional as long as the primary function is generating light, independent auxiliaries only used with lighting equipment, UV and IR radiation equipment, neon advertising signs, outdoor lighting, and lighting for transport such as buses and trains. CISPR 15 covers a frequency range of 9 kHz to 400 GHz.
IEC 61000-3-2 (limits for harmonic current emissions) and IEC 61000-3-3 (limits for voltage changes, voltage fluctuations, and flicker in public low-voltage supply systems) standards can be used to fully cover all EMC phenomena under the scope of CISPR 15.
Avalon Test Equipment offers a variety of equipment to meet the requirements for CISPR 15. Rent from Avalon and Test With Confidence®.
