ETS-Lindgren's Model 3147 Log Periodic Dipole Array is primarily designed for use with the FCC Part 15. ​The Model 3147 has excellent VSWR characteristics throughout the entire operating frequency range and has a relatively constant linear gain (measured in the far field).

This antenna is constructed of precision, corrosion-resistant nickel-plated brass tubing, for years of trouble-free indoor and outdoor use. In addition to the excellent VSWR, precision construction and assembly of the boom also results in an optimal phase relationship.
