The BEST family of conducted immunity test instruments has been designed to comply with the requirements to test for compliance according to product standards and generic standards. BEST (Burst/ESD/Surge/Transients) is the cost-effective package to test straight for compliance to EU legal requirements, to achieve the CE mark and to ensure quality in EMC. Seven different EMC pulse test procedures are incorporated in a very compact bench top unit.The package incorporates all you need to test and certify your products, in your own laboratory and with minimal effort. It is a convenient solution for on-site system verification. Test parameters are user-adjustable within wide limits and offer generous test margins, so that BEST is also ideal for product analysis, or for checking compliance with in-house EMC quality standards. Test parameters for generic standards are pre-programmed and can be simply called up at the touch of a button. Custom parameters can be keyed in and stored to be used again at any time. Tests can also be controlled via a PC, using the standard multi-lingual software supplied, to give access to a wide range of additional test management functions. Standard test parameters are pre-programmed, custom test specifications can be created and tests can be combined into complete, saveable test sequences. Test reports suitable for the Technical File and/or quality assurance purposes are generated automatically. BEST is designed to suit the needs - and the budget - of the smaller manufacturer. In larger laboratories, the instruments help to relieve pressure on other, high-end installations.
