What type of calibration will I get with my equipment?
 Every piece of pre-owned or refurbished equipment sold or rented by Avalon Equipment Corporation includes an ISO 9001 NIST traceable calibration. ISO 17025 calibration with data can be provided at an additional charge. |

What if I need calibration during the term of my rental?
 Avalon Equipment Corporation recognizes that keeping a piece of rental equipment in use is a top priority. In the event an instrument goes out of calibration during a designated rental period, Avalon will re-calibrate the unit for free.
We encourage our customers to return the insured unit to us using their selected overnight service so we can expedite the calibration process. Usually within two or three days, the unit will have been successfully calibrated and be en route back to them, under our shipping cost.
The speed of our calibration service, plus the expedited shipping on both ends, usually equals less than a week of downtime. |

Can I purchase items from Avalon even though I am not located in the United States?
 Of course. We are a worldwide distributor of quality test equipment which frequently ships outside of the United States. |

How long will it take before you ship my equipment?
 Avalon understands our customers need to have their equipment shipped quickly and on-time, according to the quotation provided. In the rare instance where we experience delays that might extend delivery time past quoted, as occasionally this happens when making sure your equipment is “just right,” we will keep you informed every step of the way. |

Can you provide international packing and shipping?
 Yes. We are well experienced with the intricacies of international export laws.
Our shipping department will pack the instruments in foam-in-place packing and double-wall boxes suitable for export. When necessary we can also use containers and/or pallets to insure your purchase or rental shows up in good condition. |

Who pays for the shipping charges?
 In the unlikely event that the unit is defective upon receipt then Avalon Equipment Corp. will pay for the return shipping costs. If the customer does not want the unit for any other reason and elects to return the unit within the 10 day right of return period, the customer pays for the return shipping charges. The customer is then responsible to insure the instrument for its full value when shipping back to our facility.
If the unit is returned to Avalon under the 90 day warranty period, the customer pays the cost of freight and insurance to our location. In turn, we will pay the return freight and insurance back to your facility. |

Where is your inventory price list?
 We don’t have one. We sell our equipment at a competitive fair market price driven by a combination of the price we must pay for the equipment and the added cost to refurbish and accessorize the unit. This selling price changes on a daily basis, depending on the availability of the unit. We publish a price list of specials and other hot deals on a regular basis. How long is your warranty?
 Avalon offers an industry leading one-year warranty on most items sold. This warranty is included in the price of the item at time of quote. Should you require a longer warranty we can offer extended time periods for a minimal cost. The few items that carry a shorter than one-year warranty will be noted at time of quote. |

Does Avalon offer equity with its rentals? (Or, can I buy the piece of equipment I am currently renting?)
 Avalon does offer an equity rental program on items we rent. Should the item be designated as a “rent only” asset, then typically no equity program is available. Equity must be established at time of quote/order placement and is not automatically added to all rentals. Our goal is to get you the program that best fits your budget and long term needs. |

What do I need to do if I want to keep the rental longer than the original term I agreed to?
 Just notify Avalon that you would like to extend your rental for an additional period of time. We will instruct you on amending or submitting a new P.O. or method of payment. |

Where and how do I return the rental unit(s)?
 Rental units should be returned to our facility at 2453 Cades Way, Building C, Vista, CA 92081. Please mark “Rental Return” on the shipping documentation. |

Do I have to pay sales tax on the rental?
 In some states, this is required. For example, Avalon Equipment Corporation collects sales tax in accordance with the laws of California, Texas and Washington State. |

What accessories will I receive when I purchase refurbished test equipment from Avalon Equipment Corp.?
 We supply all available standard accessories originally supplied with the instrument new from the manufacturer. We also provide the operating manual. |

What are your payment terms?
 Our payment terms are Net-30 upon credit approval. We also accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express for new and pre-owned test equipment. For customers outside of North America, terms are wire transfer in advance unless otherwise negotiated.

Do you offer financing programs?
 We have agreements with third-party leasing companies to provide lease financing to credit worthy customers. Your sales consultant can provide the names of our leasing partners, or you can use your own financial institution, if desired. |

How much can I save by purchasing refurbished equipment?
 In purchasing refurbished or pre-owned test equipment, our customers generally enjoy a 30 to 70 percent savings off the original list price. |
 |
What if you do not have what I want in stock?
 Avalon Equipment Corp. is an international company with many global and domestic sources for equipment. We are in contact with hundreds of companies and brokers on a daily basis in our search for quality instrumentation. We also utilize various surplus lists from major defense and aerospace companies, which allows us to access their excess inventories as necessary. |
